The closing conference: Help for families in the community: co-creation of the desired changes to reduce social exclusion and improve health

The closing conference was organised on Thursday 7.4.2016 at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Ljubljana. It saw a turnout of over 100 participants from social work, work therapy, physiotherapy and kinesiology participated. The first, morning set of contributions focused on the presentation of results obtained by the researchers at the Faculty of Social Work, based on their exploration of co-operation with families in the community. The second, afternoon set of contributions was intended for the presentations of work explored by the researches at the Faculty of Sports and Faculty of Health Sciences. The researchers participating in the project were particualrly pleased by the fact that the experts in social work, kinesiology, physiotherapy and work therapy recognised our work in the project as something that needs to be included in everyday working practice in individual fields. At the concluding discussion we jointly looked for the possibilities of future implementation of the knowledge developed within the project in everyday practice.
