Analysis of the questionnaires that addressed habits and satisfaction with bus service in Ljubljana

We concluded the analysis of the questionnaires that addressed habits and satisfaction with bus service in Ljubljana urban area of elderly public transportation users. A structured interview was used and respondents answered two types of questions, the first part consisted of multiple choice questions regarding their habits and the second part consists of 13 statements regarding their satisfaction. Participants were asked to rate their satisfaction with bus services on 5 point Licart scale.

195 public transport users were invited to participate in the structured interview. 80 persons refused to participate, 108 persons agreed to participate and 14 of them were excluded due to younger age than 60 years. Thus 101 structured interviews remained for final analysis.

The average age of respondents was 74.2 + 7.1 years, 30% were males and 70 were % females. The age structure of respondents was 47 % in the age group between 60-69 years, 38 % between 70-79 years, 23 % between 80- 89 years and 3% 90 or more (Figure). The detailed results will be presented in conferences and published in the final publication.
