Presentation of the Project and its Results at the 6th Congress of Social Work
The members of the research group participated at the 6th Congress of Social Work with the title Constructive Social Work as the Agent of Co-creative Dialogue that took place on 12 – 14 October 2016 in Moravske Toplice. At the Congress we presented the results of the project on several occassions. We took care of the project’s promotion and the transfer of knowledge that we developed, into practice, and presented the project’s findings in as many as five papers, namely: How to Lead a Conversation for Efficient Social Work; Work with the Family at a Different Level: The Concept and Results of the Processes of Support and Help for Families with Multiple Challenges; Strengthening the Resilience of Families in Participative Processes of Social Work in the Community; School Performance as a Protective Factor for Families with Multiple Challenges; and Presentation of the Process of Collaboration with a Family Facing Multiple Challenges. Moreover, two papers, The Process of Practical Learning in Collaborative Dialogue and Collaborative family-in-community-centred model of social work, were presented to national and international public within the international symposium. Active participation at the Congress offered a good opportunity for establishing new contacts with expert public and looking for new possibilities of further use of knowledge developed through the project, in the practice of social work.
