Participation at the international scientific conference in Dubrovnik

From 22.9. to 25.9. 2015 two members of the research team at the Faculty of Social Work participated at the international scientific conference »Ethics of Non-Exclusion – The Role of Social Work in Social Transformation and Innovation (IUC Dubrovnik). At the thematic workshop »Co-creating help and support with families in the community« we presented the draft model of work with families and the interim results of action research, and invited the participants at the workshop to find possible answers to open questions that would enable further development of the model of work with families in the community. The participants were so enthusiastic about the draft model that some of them thought about the possibility of its use in their own countries (such as New Zealand, Norway). Our participation at the conference certainly was a good promotion of our work and an opportunity to deepen our co-operation with the Norwegian partner, since among the participants at the conference there was also the representative of our Norwegian partner Mari Nordstrand with whom we made plans for our further activities on the project.
