Visit to Czech republic

Between 18. and 21. April  2016 one of the members of the project group at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Darja Rugelj, participated at the Erasmus+ teacher exchange. She visited the Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem in the Czech Republic.

As a visiting lecturer she participated with the lecture: Balance in stabilometry: Assessment of balance specific exercise programme for elderly. Within her lecture she also presented the results of the work on the project  Help for Families in the Community, namely, the part of the project related to the preparation and evaluation of the Model of balance-oriented training to improve the mobility of the elderly that was carried out at the Faculty of Health Sciences. The participants at the lecture were students of the second year of the study programme Physiotherapy along with the colleagues theachers in this programme. The students were mainly interested in the experiences in addressing balance on soft and unstable surfaces.
