Meeting of the Section for Neuro-Physiotherapy

One of the members of the project group at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Darja Rugelj, delivered a lecture as a visiting lecturer at the meeting of the Section for Neuro-Physiotherapy of Slovenia that took place on 22. 4. 2016 at the University Rehabilitation Institute Soča in Ljubljana.  Within her lecture she presented the results of the work on the project Help for Families in the Community, more specifically, the part of the project related to the preparation and evaluation of the Model of balance-oriented training to improve the mobility of the elderly that was carried out at the Faculty of Health Sciences. The participants at the lecture were neuro-physiotherapists coming from all the Slovenian regions. The lecture was followed by a lively discussion about the possibilities of implementing the model also in persons with a balance disorder resulting from a nervous system disorder.
